Happenings

  • Illinois Action for Children has released the 2013 Report on Child Care in Cook County. Approximately 900,000 children under the age of 13 live in Cook County, and this Report examines the availability of child care to families in different parts of Cook County.
  • Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge Grant – Illinois has won a $34.8 million Federal grant to integrate and improve the quality of early childhood programs for children and families. Grant funds will help connect children most at risk to high quality early learning programs. For more information, please click here.
