License-Exempt Provider Services
Are you providing care for children in the Child Care Assistance Program? Are you a “family, friend or neighbor” child care provider who recently started caring for children? If so, a License Exempt Monitor can serve as your personal contact to help you with IDHS training requirements and help you become familiar with the programs, information, and resources that are available for you.
We know child care involves successes and challenges while preparing children for their future. We want to do all we can to support you in this very important responsibility.
Our License Exempt Monitors are ready to assist you.
A License Exempt Monitor can come to your home to support you in your child care by sharing information and offering resources. During the visit, they will provide you with materials that will enhance your home caregiving environment and the development of your children.
We would love to get to know you and hear your ideas and questions that you might have. Please see contact information below.
Your License Exempt Monitor will be able to tell you about additional programs and resources that might help you care for the children.
Only License-Exempt providers are eligible for Resource visits.
