Start A Fundraiser

We make it easy for you to get started. Create your online fundraising page by following these steps:

• Click “Start a Fundraiser”
• Choose “As an Individual”
• Create an account
• Complete all requested fields, set your goal, and finish setting up your page.
• Begin customizing! You can update your page’s profile and cover photos, share your story of why you’re supporting IAFC’s work, and add custom images to the page.
• Remember to save your login information and bookmark your fundraising page so you can share it with your community!

No. IAFC welcomes gifts of any size. Typically, this type of grassroots fundraising yields small donations ($100 or less). However, if you know someone who wants to make a large donation, we can help to facilitate it through a check, stock gift, Donor Advised Fund, or ACH/wire transfer.

When you create your fundraising page following the steps above, choose “Create a Team” instead of “As an Individual,” then proceed with the process.

Once your team page is created, individual team members can join to create their own fundraising pages to support your team. When donations are made to these pages, they will ladder up to a combined total on your team page!

No. You can create a Facebook Fundraiser, accept cash donations and make a single online gift, or whatever other method you prefer. There are many ways to give to IAFC if you’d simply like to invite people to donate!

IAFC ensures young children’s futures have unlimited possibilities. So too, are the ways you can fundraise. In addition to simply asking people to support this organization that you care about, you could host a dinner party, bar crawl, or game night and ask for donations. Donate the proceeds from a garage or bake sale; engage your book or running club in donating or collecting donations per page read or mile run. Simply look to the things, places, and people you love for inspiration!

Make sure you’re sharing your page on social media and directly with friends and family! Add a fundraising email to your networks. Review your fundraising page – the more you personalize your page, the more likely others will want to join your cause.

To take things up a notch, you can encourage donations by including a thank you gift, like a small homemade gift or even a raffle ticket to win a cool prize. Get creative — what would make your community excited to donate?

Whatever you decide to do, remember to share the impact their donation will have on children and families. Every dollar helps get us closer to making sure every child, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or economic status, has equitable access to the outstanding care and learning they need to thrive.
