Overview

Summer 2024 Survey

We asked parents a series of questions regarding what they like about their communities, what they wish was different about their communities, what safety concerns they have in their area, what changes they would like to see in their community to make it easier to get around, what challenges they face in accessing medical care for themselves and their children, and what resources and activities they would like to see more of in their area.

Results and Findings

Based on the Summer 2024 Survey, we gained insight on the kind of communities parents live in, what they value about these communities and what are their challenges living in them.

Families desire communities that are safe, clean, and quiet; they want reliable and accessible health care, child care, schools, public transportation, and recreational facilities in their neighborhoods. Understanding the strengths, challenges, and aspirations of families is essential to building strong, supportive communities. By listening to their experiences, we can take meaningful steps to empower families and create neighborhoods where everyone can thrive.
