Opening a New Child Care Program
Starting a new child care program gives parents additional options of care for their children. If you are considering starting a new program and would like assistance and support in beginning the process please contact us at 312.823.1347. Also, please refer to our How to Start a Child Care Center and How to Start a Home Child Care Program guides from the sidebar on the right for more details.
Would you like to let parents know that you offer child care services? Illinois Action for Children is the Cook County Child Care Resource and Referral Agency (CCR&R) and is available to parents and families looking for child care. The program keeps a listing of child care providers and a description of the programs offered. For providers, the service includes referrals to families, technical assistance with child care issues, notification of grants, and professional development opportunities.
