Paying for Child Care

The Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) makes it possible for your child to enjoy the benefits of quality child care.

The following guidelines will be used to determine eligibility for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). Eligibility for the program is set at 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

Documentation must be secured for all income and maintained in the family eligibility file prior to approval for child care payments.

Parents are responsible for providing income verification and all other information required by the Department in order to determine eligibility for child care services.
