Overview
ECACE Scholarship
The Early Childhood Access Consortium for Equity (ECACE) Scholarship program was created to address the shortage of early childhood educators by encouraging the pursuit of credentials and degrees in early childhood education.
The ECACE Scholarship provides up to $7,500 in financial assistance to individuals pursuing a degree in early childhood education in Illinois.

ECACE is collaboration between the Illinois Board of Education (IBHE), the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB), the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), the Illinois State Board of Education, the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Development, and the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS).
